Your Sales Page – Sell More Through It

Your sales page is the front door to your business. Generally speaking, the more visitors that go through it, the more sales, and therefore profit, you make. However, try improving your site as best you can so you get more sales without more visitors.

1 Make it yours. Be personal on the sales page if you can and if it fits the subject. You want the product to be more of a recommendation than a hard sell. Try to introduce information about your life and situations, past or present, which show the visitor you’re like them, and that you have their concerns at heart. In other words, you’re talking to each individual who reads your sales letter even though you’re selling in the mass.

2 Use testimonials. Before you actually put up the sales page, allow some of your list, or others, to try out the product in exchange for providing you with a testimonial. Again, it’s more like having recommendations than a sales campaign. Comments from ordinary customers are probably better than from well-known marketers as they’ll be seen as more trustworthy.

3 Visuals. These are ideal for actually showing and displaying what your product looks like and does in operation. Most people scan rather than read text right through. But they will look at and follow videos if they’re clear, explanatory and provide relevant detail.

4 Bonuses. Use bonuses but not just any products you can get hold off. Ensure they complement or add to the product, so that they give the customer even more value.

5 Ask. people like to know where they stand, so be direct and ask the visitor or tell them to click the order button to buy the product. Tell them before the order button and after it. Tell them what will happen when they click it and keep reminding of the benefits they’re getting.
